- Kay has bowled for 45 years in Kokomo and bowled in Indianapolis from 1936-1949 before moving to Kokomo in 1949.
- She was a Certified Coach for many years.
- Kay was a member of the Executive Board in 1959.
- She was elected Treasurer of the Women's Indiana State Bowling Association 1969-82 and appointed Treasurer 1986-96
- Also, she was inducted to State Hall of Fame in 1976 for Meritorious Service
- She is a State Member Emerita (1985)
- March 23, 1985, became KWBA Member Emerita
- March 5, 1989, Kay was inducted as Life Member of the KWBA
- She was a current Executive Board Member of the Indiana Bowling Council
- Kay was also a Charter Member of the State 600 Club
- She coached junior bowlers for many years
- Also, she was a Charter Member of Indiana Executive Board of YABA
SINCE KAY'S INDUCTION..........
- She has become Life Member of the Women's Indiana State Bowling Association
- KWBA has named the annual youth scholarship "The Kay Kelly Scholarship."
