SUMMARY
Sharon's bowling career began in the late 1970’s when she joined a mixed league with her husband, Jeff, who is a member of the City of Firsts USBC Hall of Fame. She is a soft-spoken lady with a very pleasant personality and is always dependable.

UAW TOURNAMENT
In addition to the Kokomo’s championship tournaments, Sharon has been successful in the UAW Tournaments.
- Sharon’s UAW championships began in 2002 with the Scratch and Handicap Team Events. It was bowled at Western Bowl, Indianapolis, and those titles qualified them for the UAW National Tournament, Las Vegas, Nevada.
- In 2005, Sharon felt she achieved her greatest accomplishment when she won the UAW Singles Handicap Championship (788) with games of 213, 225, and 245 for a 683 actual series at Raceway Lanes, Indianapolis.
- Her UAW team won the Actual and Handicap Events and advanced to bowl at Thunderbowl Lanes in Detroit, Michigan, to win the team event.
- She placed 5th in the All Events category.
- In 2006, her team won the UAW National Championships also bowled in Thunderbowl Lanes, Detroit.
OTHER BOWLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In addition to the Kokomo’s championship tournaments, Sharon has been successful in the UAW Tournaments.
- In 1994, she won the fourth place finish in the Nappanee tournament at the Gold Crown Lanes
- Sharon placed fifth in the McIntosh Mixed Doubles Tournament
- In 1993, she cashed for $250 with a 5-game score of 1185 with handicap at the Hoinke Tournament in Ohio
- Sharon has also cashed a few times at the Inman’s Tournament, Valparaiso
