He moved to Kokomo approximately 24 years ago from Grove City, Pennsylvania, and has been a certified bowler for 44 years, which includes his youth membership. Rick has the personality you wish all bowlers to have. His love for the game is displayed through his conduct while on the lanes. He feels his greatest achievement was earning the City of First Scratch All Events Championship in 2003.

• Rick has maintained a year-end average of 200+ for several years established at Kokomo Sport Bowl (formerly Cedar Crest Lanes) and at Don Lowry Lanes. For the 2010-11 season, his final averages were 207 on 78 games at Kokomo Sport Bowl and 200 on 78 games at Don Lowry Lanes.
• He achieved perfection on four occasions when he rolled 300 games in 1991, 1997, 2005, and 2008.
• He also scored a 297 in 2009 and has had multiple 280 games.
• Rick’s high series of 773 was bowled on January 21, 2011, with games of 278, 246, and 249, which also included 29 strikes.
• Rick has received several awards including two 11-In-A-Row Awards on September 21, 2009, when he bowled 22 strikes in a row (279/297 games).
